Today, Coveo and Sitecore have announced an expanded offering to bring Coveo AI-powered search and recommendations to mid-market customers. This best-in-class offering, previously only available to enterprise-level customers, will enable Sitecore customers to build powerful, search-driven experiences with rich personalization. Under the new agreement, Sitecore will resell this offering directly.

I sat down with Marie-Michèle Caron, VP of Alliances, to find out more.

Q: Can you give us some background on this agreement? 

Marie-Michèle: We have worked with our partner Sitecore to create an expanded offering that will allow them to bring the power of Coveo AI-powered search and recommendations to their mid-market customers. We intend to form a global reseller partnership that will give Sitecore the rights to sell the new Coveo for Sitecore Starter & Pro Editions. We plan to continue to partner with them on a referral basis for Coveo for Sitecore Enterprise editions.

Q: What does this agreement mean for all involved? 

Marie-Michèle: This will provide Sitecore with convenient access to a best-of-breed, out-of-the-box insight engine that has been recognized by Gartner for its excellence. It is the only AI-powered search and recommendations native application in the Sitecore marketplace, and now they can deliver it to all of their customers effortlessly. 

We are delighted to be able to help our partner be competitive in the lower, mid- market. This will allow us to extend our reach and drive growth for even more businesses through the creation of relevant experiences. 

Q: Why is this expansion of our offering exciting?

Marie-Michèle: We are very excited that companies like Sitecore are considering Coveo as part of their core offering. It’s powerful validation that our solution is so much more than a nice-to-have, but a need-to-have. 

Even more thrilling is that this is part of a growing trend of our partners leveraging our technology to significantly expand what they can offer to their customers. For example, TA Digital already offers a Coveo to Adobe Experience Manager connector as part of their full-service Adobe digital transformation solution. In doing so, they enable their clients to provide exceptional experiences to their own customers with ease. 

In forming this agreement, Sitecore joins the ranks of not only TA Digital, but Cognigy and Voicify as well. It is truly incredible to see our partners using our technology across different use cases on their own platform.
